There are a lot of things about this state that make it an advantageous place to settle down. For one it is the land of 10,00 lakes. That means that you are not going to have to go very far to find water. That is great if you like water sports.

The outdoor activities here are the way to go. Hunting and fishing are the primary summer activities with some of the best Walleye fishing in the world available at the Mille Lac Lakes just north of Minneapolis. In the wintertime the favorite sports are fishing again and snowmobile riding.

The fact that the temperatures here in January seldom get above zero doesn’t even slow these people down. They haul a shanty out on the frozen lakes, cut holes in the ice with augers and fish anyway. They keep the inside of the shanty heated and drink a lot of alcohol.

If you are more the indoor type when it comes to activities the largest mall in the world, the Mall Of America is located in Minneapolis. Incidentally, Minneapolis is the largest city in the state of Minnesota followed closely by neighboring Saint Paul and then Rochester.

Just to the north you can find the border to Canada, which explains the frigid temperatures and on the eastern side of the state you will find a little trickle of water that you can literally step over very easily. That’s not terribly impressive until you follow that trickle downstream and watch it turn into the mighty Mississippi River.

The foreclosure process here is fairly quick and straightforward giving you about sixty days for the procedure to complete.

As is standard in most of the states today, the sale is taken care of and conducted by a local sheriff in the form of a public auction in the county where the property is physically located. The sheriff has the job of reading and itemized statement from the lender of the amounts due. Once the auction is over the successful bidder shall receive a certificate of sale for the property.

The borrower then has up to one full year to redeem the property by paying the delinquent amount plus any accrued costs.
